I remember when, before 1950, probably, 1948-49, My Father was Superintendent of The Emerald Petroleum Lease, owned and operated by Mr. Karl Senter of Either Dallas or Houston or more likely Kilgore Texas. Then Subsequently by Mr. J.C.Chance, (Johnny Chance, I think. My Father, as Superintendent did receive Professional Journals for Petroleum Engineers.
These Journals had therein, articles regarding Geology, Science Articles, regarding Prehistoric Fossils, and even suppositions and Theories regarding Formation of The Ice Age And Glacial Formation of Geology of the Earth.
I read an article regarding Formation of these Glacial Ice and subsequently the Huge effect on Earth's Geological Features.
The Theory that most interested me was the one which said that the rotational axis of Earth, did rotate in a circle over a great period, and it was presented as a reason for the formation of much of Earth's Surface features.
This question was of interest to my Father and a friend of his, and I mentioned it to them though I spoke when not invited.
I was questioned anyway, and the friend of My Father wanted to see it, He was given these Journals, after I found the article, for use by him for calculation of I information, I was told, And I had to give them up, which I reluctantly did, Some were really ragged, but they we useable, and he took them and was happy to have seen the article.
